Welcome from Our Minister

Welcome to the website of the Unitarian Universalists of Fallston. Serving as this congregation's Consulting Minister brings me great joy, for several reasons:

    •  This is a congregation with open minds. Every member follows an individual spiritual path. Members treat each other with care and respect, supportive of and curious about the values of others. True to Unitarian Universalism, this congregation values the use of reason in matters of faith. People here are eager to learn and grow together.

   • This is a congregation dedicated to service. From food drives and emergency assistance for families to the holiday mitten tree, the Unitarian Universalists of Fallston actively participate in the best interests of the community. I am proud to be associated with a congregation of people who are so mindful of justice and compassion.

  • This congregation welcomes people with open arms and open hearts. From the first day I arrived, I was charmed by the spirit of hospitality that is present here. Members greet newcomers with genuine warmth.

These are only a few of the many things that make the Unitarian Universalists of Fallston a remarkable congregation.

You may be wondering about what kind of worship leader you will meet at the Unitarian Universalists of Fallston. When I am not in the pulpit, you may meet one of my UU colleagues, a leader from the local interfaith community, an academic expert on a topic of social interest, or members of the congregation offering their own perspectives. As the part-time Consulting Minister, I lead worship twice a month from September through June. All of us who lead worship hope to facilitate an experience that touches both mind and heart.

If you are interested in learning more about Unitarian Universalism as a faith, I invite you to explore the notes and links in the "You Might Belong Here" and "What Do Unitarian Universalists Believe" sections of this website. In addition, you will find a wealth of information in the visitors section of our denominational association's website (http://uua.org/visitors/index.shtml). The best way to find out about Unitarian Universalism is to experience it for yourself. I hope you will visit for worship on a Sunday at 11:00 a.m. We look forward to welcoming you.
